Eman Hub is committed to protecting user privacy, maintaining transparency, and ensuring responsible use of technology.

Eman Hub is designed as a community-focused educational platform that prioritises user privacy and does not require personal user accounts.

This Privacy & Security Policy applies to the Eman Hub mobile application and the official Eman Hub website at https://www.emanhub.co.uk/.

By using Eman Hub, users agree to this Privacy & Security Policy.

1. Data Controller & Jurisdiction

Eman Hub operates as an independent educational initiative based in the United Kingdom and aligns with applicable UK data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

2. Data Collection

Eman Hub does not require user registration and does not create personal user accounts or profiles.

Eman Hub does not operate an app-user database and does not routinely collect names, addresses, telephone numbers or personal contact details.

Eman Hub does not sell, trade or use personal information for advertising or marketing purposes.

Certain settings and user-created information may be stored locally on the user’s own device, including:

Locally stored information is not uploaded to or remotely stored on Eman Hub servers.

Users may voluntarily contact Eman Hub by email. Information voluntarily included in an email may be retained only as necessary to respond to the enquiry or manage the correspondence.

Visitors may voluntarily submit an app or website rating, comment or suggestion. This information is stored securely within Eman Hub’s website infrastructure and used only to review feedback, identify issues and improve the project. Users should not include sensitive personal information. Feedback is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for review and project improvement.

3. Technical & Diagnostic Data

The Eman Hub mobile application does not currently use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, advertising SDKs or behavioural tracking.

Eman Hub does not use advertising identifiers or third-party advertising networks.

Cloudflare hosts and protects the Eman Hub website and may provide basic aggregated website information, such as:

Eman Hub does not use this information to identify individual visitors or create personal profiles.

Eman Hub does not currently operate remote crash-reporting or remote analytics systems within the mobile application.

4. Location & Sensor Permissions

Eman Hub may request access to device location and sensors to support core functionality such as:

Users may use device location or select a location manually where available.

Location and city settings may be stored locally on the user’s own device. Location is not uploaded to Eman Hub servers.

Eman Hub does not create a location history and does not use background location tracking.

Users may disable permissions via device settings, though functionality may be limited.

5. Camera Permission

Camera access is optional and may be requested for barcode or QR scanning.

The camera is activated only when the user opens the barcode or QR scanning feature. Scanning takes place using the user’s own device.

Eman Hub does not receive, upload or store photographs, camera images or video. No scan-image history is stored by Eman Hub.

When a product barcode is checked, only the barcode number is sent to Open Food Facts to retrieve product information. Open Food Facts operates under its own privacy policy.

6. Notifications & Scheduling

Eman Hub may send optional notifications including:

Notification scheduling is handled locally on the user’s device. The app does not use Firebase Cloud Messaging or an equivalent remote push-notification system for these functions.

Users can turn Adhan and relevant notifications on or off inside the app or through device settings.

7. Data Storage & Retention

Eman Hub does not maintain a remote personal-user database.

App preferences and user-created reminders may be stored locally on the user’s device. Local app information can normally be removed through app settings, clearing app data or uninstalling the app.

Voluntary emails may be retained only as necessary for correspondence. Eman Hub does not sell or use such information for advertising.

Voluntarily submitted website ratings and comments are stored privately within Eman Hub’s Cloudflare website infrastructure and are not published as a public review feed.

8. External Platforms & Services

Eman Hub may link to or rely on independent external platforms and services, including:

These services operate independently under their own privacy policies. Eman Hub does not control or manage their independent data practices.

A normal external connection may disclose basic technical information, such as an IP address and browser or device request information, to the relevant provider.

9. Qur’an Audio Streaming

The Eman Hub mobile application provides a Qur’an audio page with 13 reciters. All Qur’an recitations are streamed from external services.

Eman Hub does not host the Qur’an audio files and does not store the Qur’an audio on its website or servers. Eman Hub does not maintain listening history or audio analytics.

Audio playback is delivered through external providers including QuranicAudio, MP3Quran and Islamic Network.

When audio is played, the user’s device connects directly to the external provider. As part of standard internet functionality, these providers may receive the user’s IP address and basic network request information under their own privacy policies.

Eman Hub does not collect, store or track this data.

10. Donations / Voluntary Support

The Eman Hub mobile application contains no subscriptions, no Google Play Billing, no in-app purchases, no paid features, no payment processing and no payment system inside the app.

The app is free to use, with no adverts and no paywalls.

Voluntary donations are available only through the official Eman Hub website. Donations are completely voluntary, support the wider Eman Hub project, do not unlock app or website features and do not affect access to content.

Stripe processes donations externally. No card-entry or banking system is hosted inside the Eman Hub app. Eman Hub does not store payment card or banking details on its own app or website systems.

Stripe may process and retain transaction information under Stripe’s own privacy policy. Users are encouraged to review Stripe’s policies when making a transaction.

11. Children’s Privacy

Eman Hub does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Local app use does not require a child to create an account or profile.

12. User Rights

Under UK GDPR, users may request access, correction or deletion of personal data.

These rights may apply to limited information voluntarily supplied to Eman Hub, such as email correspondence.

Users may contact contact@emanhub.co.uk for privacy-related enquiries or requests.

13. Cookies (Website Only)

The Eman Hub website currently does not use Google Analytics, advertising cookies, behavioural tracking cookies, tracking pixels or advertising networks.

The website does not currently use first-party cookies for analytics or advertising.

Google Fonts and Cloudflare may receive ordinary technical requests when the website loads. Cloudflare may provide aggregated traffic and security information, including approximate visitor numbers and page views. Eman Hub does not use this information to identify individual visitors.

If Google Analytics, optional analytics, additional cookies or similar services are introduced in the future, this Privacy & Security Policy and any legally required consent mechanism must be updated before those services are implemented.

14. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes to Eman Hub, legal requirements or external services. The revised policy will be published with an updated date.
