ASR Clock Privacy Policy

ASR Clock is developed by Eman Hub. This policy explains how ASR Clock handles information.

1. Privacy at a Glance

2. Information Stored on Your Device

Alarm settings—including alarm times, labels, repeat days, snooze, sound or radio choices, vibration and volume options—are stored locally on your device. Other app preferences, such as selected world clocks, radio favourites, clock display settings and optional prayer-time settings, may also be stored locally.

Eman Hub does not operate a remote ASR Clock account or user-profile database. Local information remains on your device until you change or delete it, reset or clear the app, uninstall the app, or the operating system removes it.

3. Optional Location Permission

ASR Clock may request optional approximate or precise location permission to calculate and display local prayer times and Qibla direction. The main alarm clock does not require location permission.

Location is processed on the device. Last coordinates, a location label, timezone and prayer preferences may be retained locally so the feature can continue to work without repeatedly requesting a location fix. ASR Clock does not upload or remotely store this location information on Eman Hub servers and does not create a location history.

You can deny or revoke location permission in your device settings. You may use a manually selected city where available.

4. Alarm Data

Your alarm configuration is stored locally on the device and is used only to schedule and operate the alarms you create. ASR Clock does not upload alarm labels, alarm times or alarm history to Eman Hub.

5. Custom Audio

If you select a custom audio file for an alarm, the file remains under your control and is accessed through the permissions and file-selection mechanisms provided by your device. ASR Clock does not upload your personal audio files to Eman Hub.

6. Internet Radio

The optional radio feature connects to external radio-directory and station-stream providers. ASR Clock uses the Radio Browser directory to discover stations and then connects your device to the station’s stream.

External providers may receive ordinary technical connection information, such as your IP address and network request information, and may have their own privacy practices. Eman Hub does not control those external providers.

7. Analytics, Advertising and Tracking

The current ASR Clock build does not include advertising SDKs, behavioural analytics, Firebase Analytics, user profiling or a developer-operated remote crash-reporting service. ASR Clock does not use advertising identifiers.

8. Security and Data Control

ASR Clock is designed so that app settings and user-created alarm data remain on your device unless an external connection is explicitly required by a feature you choose to use, such as internet radio. Device and operating-system safeguards protect locally stored app data.

9. Permissions

ASR Clock may request or declare permissions needed for reliable alarm operation and optional features. These can include notifications, exact alarms, full-screen alarm presentation, foreground media playback, wake lock, vibration, restart/update handling, internet access for radio, and optional location access for local prayer times and Qibla.

10. Children’s Privacy

ASR Clock does not require an account and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to ASR Clock, legal requirements or third-party services. Any revised policy will be published on this page with an updated date.
